Accurately measuring your camper mattress is crucial. Precise measurements help us consider all the factors needed to create the perfect campervan mattress for your space

When measuring your caravan, here’s what you need to consider:

- Length: From the head to the foot of the intended mattress space.
- Width: From side to side of the mattress space.
- Corners: Note any rounded or cut corners or unusual shapes.
- Thickness: Measure from the bottom of the mattress to the top.

Need more help? Our team will happily guide you through this process, or we can arrange a time to accurately measure your campervan in person.

On your travels across Perth or Australia, we provide unmatched delivery, warranty, and guarantee, helping you rest easier.

Warranty that Lasts: We stand by every mattress we make. Depending on your chosen campervan mattress, warranties range from 3 to 10 years, reflecting our confidence in lasting quality.

Fast, Local Delivery: Proudly Perth-based, we deliver directly from our factory to you. Instead of your mattress travelling the country, it journeys straight to your campervan.

Sleep Risk-Free: We want you to feel completely confident in your choice. That’s why we offer a 100-night comfort guarantee. Try your custom caravan mattress for a few trips, and if it’s not quite right, we’ll work with you to make it right.

Important Considerations for Caravan Mattresses

Thickness: Ensure the mattress thickness allows for adequate headroom and doesn’t interfere with any internal fixtures or roof vents. A thicker mattress may provide a more luxurious feel, while a slimmer profile can be beneficial in smaller caravans.

Firmness level: The firmness of a camper mattress significantly impacts your sleep comfort, support and overall well-being during your outdoor adventures. Side sleepers often prefer less firm mattresses, while back sleepers generally benefit from firmer options for better support.

Breathability: Ultimate Beds unique airflow design allows full air circulation through the entire mattress, eliminating any build-up of excess body heat or moisture. This is especially important for caravans as condensation can build up during extended travel time.

Durability: Ultimate beds outer (and, for our DeLuxe range, inner) covers are made from 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton. Due to its longer fibres, organic cotton is softer and more durable. It is also a more sustainable option and supports biodiversity.

Memory foam is a popular choice for campervan mattresses due to its ability to conform to your body’s shape, providing personalised support and comfort. It’s excellent for relieving pressure points and minimising motion transfer, making it ideal for couples sharing the bed.

At Ultimate Beds, we craft custom campervan mattresses using high-grade, breathable Australian-made foams. Our designs combine personalised support with airflow technology to prevent overheating, giving you restorative rest no matter where the road takes you.

Yes. Regular mattresses are usually too tall, too wide, and too heavy for RV and campervan spaces. This can cause fitting issues, weigh down the vehicle, or reduce available headroom. RV mattresses are purpose-built to be lighter, slimmer, and cut to exact dimensions so they fit securely within compact spaces.

Ultimate Beds specialises in made-to-measure mattresses for caravans and campervans. We tailor each mattress to your vehicle’s unique layout. If you prefer a mattress with rounded corners, reduced thickness, or specific zoning for support, we can provide the perfect fit with long-lasting comfort.

Sleeping well in a campervan comes down to creating the right environment: choose quiet, safe places to park, use blackout curtains to block out light, maintain airflow for ventilation, and follow a steady sleep routine. Most importantly, invest in a quality mattress designed to suit small spaces and provide proper support.

Specialising in premium mattresses, we provide custom campervan mattresses designed with 7-zone support, organic cotton covers, and breathable foam cores. This means you can sleep comfortably on the road with healthy, pressure-relieving support and a perfect fit for your van.
